Allison Pregler Bio
Allison Pregler is an avid reviewer of Z-graded movies that are mostly of the horror or martial arts categories. Her style of review and methodology is similar to The Cinema Snob. However she prefers to review crappy action movies that have a twisted fascination. Her reviews started in late 2009; following her rise to fame (under the old name Obscurus-Lupa) Allison Pregler subsequently became part of Channel Awesome's family. Her site remained up through the beginning of 2015 when Obscurus Lupa Presents was redesigned to Movie Nights. Two of her podcasts are co-hosted as well as a show that covers Charmed. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme. Watch her YouTube videos here as well as here. Also on Tumblr and Twitter. Allison is a bit much for you? It's possible to see her kick in the sex in the role of Interpol ninja Cheetah Lee from Ninja the Mission Force. Brad Jones' film Jesus Bro! was also featuring her. He has also had her appear as a guest in several episodes of his series Midnight Screenings. She reviews terrible films for children or RiffTrax shows as well as occasionally, she reviews adult comedy (including Baywatch (2017)). She began in late 2009 to review movies, which gained her acclaim on the Channel Awesome forums. She was then accepted into the group of film critics. Her appearances have been in numerous Channel Awesome programs, from Atop the Fourth Wall and Phelous & the Movies to Atop the Fourth Wall. She appeared on many seasons of Nostalgia Critic and was a one of the original members of Channel Awesome's family along with Doug Walker.
